Get involved in promoting great rural tourism ‘experiences’ in Somerset
Local Authority partners in Somerset and Exmoor have recently commissioned a national marketing campaign promoting great rural ‘experiences’. A supplement will be produced featuring suggested itineraries for different experiences – this supplement will be included in the BBC Countryfile magazine. Examples of these ‘experiences’ might be a great family farm-stay holiday; guided walks with added extras; food and drink related short breaks; cycling breaks with luggage transfer and for this we'd be looking to highlight the different businesses that can provide this experience from accommodation providers to tour guides, equipment hire and much more.
To contribute your ideas and offers for top experiences you will need a Google account (e.g. Gmail) and to join the Google communtiy created for this project. The community will be live until the end of September. GreenTraveller have been commissioned to undertake this work and will use professional travel writers to describe the experiences in a colour supplement.
